The Data Starts to Flow

More and more data has started flowing through to the Human Activities portal. We’ve just made available three new datasets:
- Waste disposal: for the moment only containing dredge spoil dumping points, but more data is in the pipeline
- Other forms of area management / designation: with Regional Advisory Council, International Conventions, and Maritime Boundaries.
- Wind farms: the Baltic Sea, Bay of Biscay and Macaronesia are already available. Other sea regions will follow
In addition we also updated our dataset on Main ports, which now includes goods traffic, and our dataset on Hydrocarbon extraction with Spain and Montenegro offshore oil and gas wells.
We’re now implementing the data catalogue that will make available all data and metadata also for download. It’ll also be possible to request our data via WMS/WFS.
